The Power of the Dark Side

Tonight I feel a bit like Anakin Skywalker. I have succumbed
to the power of the dark side. Although I have owned an
iPod for almost two years now, I've definitely been
a PC user. Oh, I toyed with the idea of having a Mac. But
it was always the comfortable little Dell laptop, purring
away on the very stable NT-based Windows 2000. I
even mistakenly bragged several weeks ago how I was
able to rescue my PC laptop from a crash and marvelled
at my own brilliance. However, it again crashed a few days
later...this time for good.

Why did I come over to the Dark Side...I mean Apple?
The new Macs, including my new MacBook has a duo
processor, meaning it can run both Windows and Mac.
This was the domino that tipped the decision. I really
do have to admit also, that Macs are just a lot more fun.
I have a small camera built into the screen, a built-in
DVD burner, all the bells and whistles...all at a very
decent price. Now if I can just find out what button
activates the light sabre.

Hmm, I'm the opposite. I started with Mac's and loved them. I really was ticked when my company decided to switch to PC's. But I have to admit my computer at home is a PC too. I just use it for e-mail & web surfing. But sometimes I need to send work home, so it was easy to have a PC with Office, and cheaper than Mac's the last time I looked. Maybe you'll inspire me to upgrate to a Mac in a year or 2 when my current desk top needs to be replaced. It's getting pretty old.
