Erebus

This is a great picture showing exactly how big Mt. Erebus
is in comparison to McMurdo. McMurdo is at sea level in
the front of the picture, and Erebus is the world's southernmost
active volcano at 12,444 feet elevation. Needless to say, if
Erebus decided to throw an unexpected temper tantrum,
(which isn't likely...don't worry) we'd be toast.
