Home Away From Home

A few folks went out last week and built themselves an igloo on the ice shelf. From what I heard, they had a fun, but miserably cold time doing it. Nice view I suppose, but it still looks too darn cold to me. For a person that lives in Antarctica, I don't have a special fondness for cold weather. I was brought up in a part of the country where we fought the winter and survived it. Ironic, I guess that I would work in one of the coldest places on earth. (photo Keith Martin)
