For those of you that get HBO, check out
the movie "Warm Springs" airing from now
until the end of April. It stars Kenneth
Branagh and Cynthia Nixon as Franklin and
Eleanor Roosevelt and chronicles a part of
FDR's life that many people don't know
much about. Most of the film takes place
after FDR contracted polio and shows his
struggle to overcome this disease that
crippled hundreds of thousands around the
world. Although polio has been effectively
eliminated, the Roosevelt Warm Springs
Institute and the March of Dimes continue
to help those that are disabled.
