Lynn sent me this photo today that she took
from our front porch. Grand Junction had
over ten inches of snow (probably the largest
snow in about 15 years) and made a mess of
things. This is a lot of snow for high
desert country that gets only eight inches
of rain each year! Luckily it's still
Colorado, and because it's so sunny, most
of this will be gone in a couple of days!

Nope, still not gone and the snow is falling again as I type. It's been too cold to melt.
I think this is the longest amount of time I've seen snow stay around since the blizzard of '82.
