Blowing Money

In today's economy, it's hard to keep money around. Somebody
always wants to be paid. A bill is due, groceries and gas need to be
purchased. It seems like it flies out of your pocket quicker than ever.
However, sometimes money comes to you. Lynn and I were driving
down North Avenue today in Grand Junction. Now, Lynn sometimes
says I miss a lot when I drive. She'll say, "Did you see those deer?'
or something like that. Uh no...I was busy paying attention to the
road. Well, today was a good day to pay attention to the road. As
I was driving, I saw what looked like money blowing across the road.
Not a bag of money or anything, but one bill. I shouted out..."Look,
there's money!" Lynn asked me if I was sure, and I told her that I
thought I saw a face on it. I could see it in the rearview mirror,
blowing across the road. We went around the block and looked
again. I was about to give up when Lynn spotted it! I was convinced
it probably wasn't money, but some kind of funny money. When
Lynn came back to the car, in her had was a $20 bill!!!!! Real money!
So sometimes money finds you, and jumps into your pocket instead
of out of it!

I always buy lottery tickets or go to the casino with found money. Better to do that with found money than your own money!
