Party Like It's 1941


The Cubs played the Dodgers today in Los Angeles, and it was a retro day.
Sometimes called a "Turn Back The Clock" day, Retro meaning that both teams
wear uniforms from a different era. Today it was 1941 and the Dodgers wore
uniforms copying their look when they were the 1941 Brooklyn Dodgers. The
Cubs have always been in Chicago and wore replicas from 1941 as well. It's
kind of cool that teams do this occasionally and I think both teams really did
a good job of coming as close as possible to the look from 70 years ago.
Wow...70 years is a long time!

I was going to link the uniwatch article about the uniforms and their creation, but since you used the same photo as the blog, I will just assume that you are still keeping up with it. Nice unis.
