The folks from McChord Air Force Base provide
the C-17 service to and from McMurdo. McChord
is located in Tacoma Washington and the flight
crews typically rotate through every few weeks.
I didn't take this photo but it's one of my
favorites I've seen of the C-17 on the Ice.
This is the sticker that the flight crew was
selling on the plane headed south from
Christchurch.
I like that they have a small drawing of Mount
Rainier on their tail.
