Oops!

Earlier today, Van 201 had a small problem with
an electrical fire. It was being operated by the
military folks at Pegasus Airfield. Scary thing
was, it happened right next to the fuel pits! I
don't think this van will be seeing any driving
time for quite a while...if ever again.

Plug It In

Almost like clockwork (Vessel week will start
in a few days), the weather is starting to get
colder. I've even broken out Big Red again as
the walk up and down the hill is outright nasty
when the wind is blowing. The cold weather
also means that we have to start plugging in
vehicles when they're not operating. This
keeps the engine block warm and is a matter of
fact during the winter months. That just means
that winter is closing in. By the time I leave
in three weeks, it will start to have a real
bite in the air.
