I found this map on the McMurdo common computer drive last week and it shows a pretty good representation of where we are. It's a National Geographic map from 1964-65 and locates us on the tip of Ross Island, facing South. Instead of the map pointing North, the South is on top...confused yet? Most people are. After 4 years, it still confuses me which way is which when I look out the window.
