This is Highway One. The main "thoroughfare" hallway in
Building 155 at McMurdo. It's looking pretty empty these
days, but in 3 short weeks it will be bustling, busy, and
certainly not as peaceful. The end of the world as we know
it is coming. Some are glad, some are mad and some are sad.
Another sign that summer in Antarctica is close at hand.
