The End of Another Season

Another season has ended and we have left the Ice until next year. I'm typing this from Sunny and fairly warm Christchurch. We got to see the sun on the Ice just before we left and it was if none of us had ever seen it before. The plane ride back on the C-17 was fairly uneventful and before we knew it we were back, smelling flowers, feeling the humidity and hearing the sounds of odd things such as singing birds, noisy automobiles and laughing children. It's good to be back. For the next month we will be in New Zealand, enjoying it's hospitality. It was a great winter, but it's good to be home!

it goes without saying, but i'll say it. THANKS TOM. To go hit those botanical gardens and give an extra sniff for me. I think it was in those gardens that I rediscovered the power of the sense of smell.

I meant "now go hit those botanical gardens." I don't know what "to go" meant....

enjoy getting your brain back and always look right before crossing the road
