Tomorrow I leave Grand Junction and begin
the trek toward Antarctica, stopping along
the way in New Mexico, Oklahoma and Indiana.
It's been a great seven months here in G.J.
and lots of things have happened while we've
been here. It's a little sad to leave, but
this is home and it will be fun to come back
in a year. Famous Coloradoan John Denver
wrote some song lyrics in the song "Farewell
Andromeda" that kind of sum it up.

And see what they might bring
