In this anti-land of the far south it only seems
appropriate that we do not celebrate Thanksgiving
on the actual day it falls. We are celebrating
it today with a large dinner (in three shifts) in
the galley, complete with turkey and all the
"fixins" and hopefully lots of rest. The six day
weeks are starting to grind people down and
many are using this time to recuperate. I'm
looking forward to spending some time with Lynn
and give a big sigh of not having to work today.
Oh yeah...I'll probably enjoy the turkey too!
