On days like today, caffeine is my friend.
A friend that is never too far away. Granted,
his visits only last for a couple of hours
but then he knocks on the door and is usually
welcomed in for another round. I started my
first day shift today and will be on this shift
for the rest of the season. I can't say that
I was any more sleepy than usual, but just the
thought of waking up at 4:45 AM instead of
4:45 PM does not make me happy. I'm not a
morning person, but I guess for the next
eight weeks, I'll learn to be one.

Do you start at 6:00 or does it just take you a really long time to put your face on?
I actually start at 5:45am and work until 6pm. Unfortunately my face doesn't get any better throughout the day!
Well at least you are drinking a Nalgene of coffee before the morning meeting is over!
I meant to say "aren't." I guess it is time for some more espresso for me.
