Today we received our request forms for our
Winter Housing assignments. We have to choose
between Dorm 209 and Dorm 155 since there are
only going to be 124 people on station, and
everyone gets their own room. We will be
living in Dorm 209 since every two rooms share
one bathroom, located between the two rooms.
Dorm 155 has bigger rooms, but they don't
connect, making them a poor choice for couples.
I think we'll have enough housing points to
get a bayside view since both of us will have
over 40 months of time with the program. Time
will tell. In the meantime, we'll enjoy our
cramped little room next door in Dorm 208 and
in a few weeks start packing. In less than two
months, this dorm will be closed, and very very
cold.
