Our friend, Christine, celebrated her 30th Birthday ten
years ago by jumping out of an airplane. She wanted to
do something "memorable" for her 40th, so last week she
shaved her head. This seems to be a fairly popular thing
for people to do here on the Ice as most people that know
you off the Ice won't see you for a few months and you have
a couple of months to look "normal". Now Christine and her
photographer-extraordinaire-husband Antz are taking a photo
of her a day in the same location to monitor the progress
of her hair growth. Kind of an Antarctic Chia Pet if you
will. I'm looking forward to seeing the final product.
Just about 3 months going by in a minute or two. If only
everything happened so fast down here.
