While we were eating this evening at El Salto Mexican
Restaurant in Valparaiso, we discussed that neither
set of my grandparents probably ever ate at a ethnic
restaurant. No Chinese, no Mexican and certainly not
Indian or Thai. If they went out to eat, it was chicken
or fish. We are very lucky these days that we have
such a wealth of choices to pick from. Would my grand-
parents have even tried these options if they were
available then? Hard to tell, but I'm going to take
advantage of my international options every opportunity
I get.
