No, I didn't play hookey from school, march in a
parade, attend a Cubs game or even hang out with
my friend Cameron, wrecking his Ferrari. But...
after almost a month, I got my first full day off!
No phones, no emails, no one counting on me having
the answer...I spent a blissful day doing...nothing.
Yes, sleeping in until 11:00 is a wonderful thing
when you have nothing planned for the day. I could
get used to this "day off" concept. I might even
get one of them each week for the next few months.
