Tonight, Christchurch observed "Earth Hour" by turning
off most of it's lights for one hour. This is part of a
world-wide occurrence that happens once a year in
many cities. There was a big observance down at the
square from 8:30 to 9:30 with acoustic musicians
playing for the crowd. We didn't attend, but did turn
off all of our lights at home for an hour. Lynn knitted
by headlamp and I played on my computer via battery
power. Not that green, but I guess every little bit helps.
