At The Track
We live adjacent to Grand Junction High School and usually
our only connection to the school is dodging baseballs that
are flying over the fence into our yard from Fanning Field.
However, there is definitely a positive to living next to the
school. In the past few years, the school made some upgrades
to it's athletic fields and replaced it's old cinder track with a
new all-weather track. It's great for our walks and gives lots
more support than sidewalks or roads. Now if I could just
get someone to do my walking for me, it would be perfect!

Junction gets all of the best stuff. They are the District #51darlings. Central probably still has a dirt track.
We drove by Central a couple of weeks ago...it's hardly a one room schoolhouse ;)
And yet, so much better than Junction. We are given nothing and we do wonders with it. Those silver spoon bastards are handed everything and they squander it away. If we had their facilities, there would be not be a thing that we could not do.
Ben is a Warrior..hear him roar!
