The Antarctic Sun
The Antarctic Sun is a local press publication
that is issued every Sunday during the summer
season. Although it's supposed to cover all
aspects of the Antarctic programe, I find it
a little dry and heavily geared toward science.
Since it's funded by the National Science
Foundation I guess they get to choose what and
who they want to write about. However, every
week they do introduce a human aspect to the
paper by asking a person at each American station
a question about Antarctica. This week, Lynn was
chosen from McMurdo. Although she claims she
had a ghost "answerer", I feel she was cynically
smart-allecky and I'm proud of her.
