At exactly 1400 today it took off. It's gone. No more
plane...nada. The summer season is officially over. All
of the summer folks have left. McMurdo is now the land of
the Winterover. I will miss a few of the folks that have
left, but it is nice to be down to a small population. The
small town that I expected to find in late February. We
number 125 ... 34 women and 91 men. I think it's going to
be a very good winter.
