Last night I was woken up by something I haven't heard for over
a year, and we were in Quito Ecuador when it happened. Thunder!
We've been pretty dry the past few weeks...and hot, with temps
over a hundred for a couple of days. So this surprise (at least
to me) storm was kind of a jolt. It also dropped our temps quite
a bit. So much that it isn't supposed to get out of the 50's all day.
Our storm even lasted into the morning hours and it was really
pleasant lying in bed, just listening to the thunder. Ok...now it
can get dry and sunny again. I'm over it!
