Happy Geography Awareness Week! In my quest to make
the world as geeky about Geography as I am, I'm
promoting Geography Awareness Week these days.
It's a National Geographic-led campaign promoting the
importance of geography education in the United States.
A subscriber of National Geographic since 1977, I've
always felt that one can never know too much about the
world outside one's own world. I feel very fortunate
that I've seen as much of the world that I have and as
long as I'm on this planet, I can't wait to see even
more!
