No More Crew Tours
Yesterday, I led my last Crew Tour of the
season. Because the Ice Runway is closing
and operations are shifting to Pegasus Runway
for the remainder of the year, it is too far of
a drive to pick up the crew, bring them into
town and take them back to the runway before
the plane takes off. The ground time is usually
just an hour and late in the season, it can take
up to an hour just to get out there. I've had
a good time conducting the tours this season,
taken a lot of interesting photos and got to
spend some quality time at the runway. All
combined with a good excuse to get out of the
office!

That was one of my favorite things to do. I am still friends with one of the pilots who came down a few times to shop for all his friends!
