Hire Me, Google Maps

A few days ago, I was doing some trip planning on Google Maps
(which incidentally is an excellent resource for your mapping needs)
and i discovered that you "couldn't drive" between Grand Junction
and Denver on Interstate 70. Apparently the kind folks at Google
Maps hadn't re-drawn their maps after I-70 was closed earlier in
the year due to a rockslide that closed the road. So I wrote them:

Report history
Problem ID: D1D9-42F4-C879-E708

Your report: Interstate 70 is now open through Glenwood Canyon (one lane each way during repair work) from Glenwood Springs to Dotsero. Unfortunately, Google Maps does not show this as a viable option for trip planning.

Your Google Maps problem report has been reviewed, and you were right! We'll update the map soon and email you when you can see the change.

Yes, I am a geek for noticing this....just the type of geek that would
be a valuable member of the Google Maps team!

Way to tell them Tom. Now can you tell them to go back to their old logo?

Nice work, Tom. While researching routes for a bike trip, it came to my attention that you can't drive between any two countries in the middle east even though they have no problem navigating within each country.
