Outstanding in Her Field

When we first got here three weeks ago, Lynn thought the
corn surrounding my Mom's house would be about the same
height is she is. We didn't take a photo then, but it was much
taller than she was much to her surprise. We took another
photo today and it was even taller...about another 6 inches!
I think Lynn has a new appreciation for Corn!

Yum...Sweet Corn!

I have waited for today for almost three years!
Sweet Corn! I love to eat corn on the cob and since we've
wintered the past two years on the Ice, it hasn't been
available to us. The Hallbergs brought Mom some
corn from their farm so we cooked hot dogs on the
grill and had corn for dinner. I was in heaven!
